Makers is founded on the belief that creative experiences are highly beneficial for the emotional, intellectual and developmental growth of children.
We embrace process-based art. That means we create with an attitude of play and discovery, and focus more on the experience than the outcome. We like to introduce children to a variety of art materials, tools and techniques that encourage curiosity, exploration and confidence.
Our goal is to get students to think creatively and use their imagination.
Hi! I'm Erin. I have a Masters in Elementary Education, and spent a handful of wonderful years in the classroom. I opened Makers in 2018 because I love teaching, love kids, and LOVE art! I also found there weren't many art classes available for my little kids, and decided to change that.
I want to give our community's youngest children an opportunity to engage in meaningful and developmentally appropriate art projects. I hope you will join us!
