IMakers COVID-19 Policies:
This policy has been devised to ensure our activities and operations at Makers are in line with the Rhode Island Department of Health, the CDC and DHS. These policies are ever evolving and changing.

  • There will be no shared sensory bins
  • Students will have their own supplies and space in the studio
  • All adults are required to wear masks when in the studio
  • Students should wear masks when in the studio.
  • Before drop off each day, parents are required to respond to the COVID-19 Screening developed and approved by DHS and Rhode Island Department of Health
  • Enrollment for classes and camps will be decreased to allow for adequate social distancing

Drop off/ Pick up Procedures
We are hopeful these policies will change before camp begins but currently the drop-off and pick-up guidelines for childcare advise to limit the amount of adults in a space therefore we are doing drop-off and pick-up at the doorway of the studio. If a child feels uncomfortable entering the studio alone, we ask only one adult (wearing a mask) enter the studio with the child. The adult is welcome to stay until the child feels comfortable enough for the adult to leave. We ask families to continue to observe social distancing guidelines when arriving and leaving each class.
